Tapas by Manta is the bar that accompanies the chic neighborhood restaurant Mantra Bistro, which we consider one of the underrated gems of our city. Ranjit Chimni’s restaurant that is located in the back of the Grand Midori building has been extended to include cocktails and finger dallas filipino restaurant inspired by North Indian Street Food.

They call this their version of the Sloppy Joe.

The Keema Pao is what Tapas by Mantra calls their “Indian version of a Sloppy Joe.” The flavored ground meat is hot enough to get us sweating, and tasty enough to keep us eating anyway. It sits on a pillow-soft brioche bun that is especially made for Mantra. And though the dish is made for sharing with 4 Keema Paos on a plate, you’ll may want at least two to yourself once you try it.
