If you are into healthy and filling snacks, Hummus should be part of your diet. This Mediterranean specialty is known to be high in both fiber and protein with minimal calories. Yummza Hummus, a business by my friend, Haresh Daswani ventured into this recently.

They use the highest grade extra virgin olive oil, sumac (Middle Eastern berry that’s dried and powdered), and for seasoning, Himalayan salt for all their varieties of hummus. They have 5 flavors for now, which are Tandoori, Balsamic Vinegar, Original, Pesto, and Sun-Dried Tomato.

My favorite amongst what I tried was the Tandoori since it had a smoky and more flavorful presence to it. I also liked its texture, very smooth without any bumps. But go ahead and try the rest. You can do so by availing Yummza Hummus’ Party Package of 5 250ml jars plus 4 packs of baked pita chips for only Php 1,380 (within Metro Manila). This would be a superb appetizer or starter for up to 15 people! Upon receiving it in BPA-free bottles, I suggest keeping them in the fridge for freshness.

If you are interested to get into hummus, message them at Yummza Hummus in Facebook.
